Appregatta has made a firm commitment to our communities, and we support the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA), which is working to transform youth sports, so sports can transform youth. The PCA is also supported by leaders in the field of athletics like PCA National Spokesperson Phil Jackson, Jennifer Azzi, Shane Battier, Bill Bradley, Tony Dorsett, Herm Edwards and many others. Their goal is to replace the “win-at-all-cost” mentality currently dominating youth sports with the Double-Goal Coach© method that keeps an emphasis on winning, but stresses the importance of using sports to teach life lessons to build a positive youth sports culture.
